do you watch little einsteins?  we do.  and i'm thinkin' we watch it too much.  case in point:

i walk in the room the other day and cy is heartbroken {you know, with the little pouty face}  and i say, oooohhhhhh, cy!  what's wrong?  he tells me he was yelling for me, that he was yelling fortissimo and i did not hear him and i did not come. {sniff, sniff}

what is fortissimo, you ask?

well, fortissimo means loud or loudly.

and how did cy know this?  little einsteins.

right now, at this very moment, [as i sit here] the island of sodor {thomas the train} is no longer taking up the whole kitchen.  the island of sodor is no longer taking up the whole living room, nor is it occupying the bedroom.

as much joy as it brings the boys {and, in turn, me - mommy breaks} i am glad to have it put away in the plastic bin.

i do not have high hopes that it will stay that way for all day tomorrow, but for now it makes me happy!!
