Finally! It's here - baseball season! We've been waiting for such a long time to be able to watch the Mariners every day! Here is a typical early morning conversation between Will and I since baseball started:
Will: With enthusiasm, "Good Morning!"
Anika: Less enthusiastically, "Hey." (It's not my fault it takes longer for me to truly be awake.)
Will: "How did you sleep?"
Anika: "Great! Thanks for letting me sleep all night!"
Will: "Sure, no problem. Um, I didn't get up with baby boy last night."
Anika: "Wow, he must of slept through the night, again!"
We both are patting ourselves on the back for being super great parents while we are both secretly hoping that Cy really did sleep through the night instead of us just sleeping through the cries.
Will: "So, what's game time today?"
Anika: "5:10 p.m."
Will: "I'll go set the TIVO."
Anika: "I'll go get a bottle."
