four-year-old cousin calvin came over to play the other day. the weather was overcast and windy and cold-ish. it was mid-morning when calvin came to me and asked if we could get the pool out and swim. i considered it. i
almost did it. but then i remembered i didn't have ten-year-olds, i had small children. small children that get cold easy. we had SO much fun this summer - even in the backyard, and it's what i've been thinkin' about a lot this week. one day, cal, we will get the pool out in the freezing cold.

Now the fall is hitting... I'm starting to miss the warm weather. I guess I'm not a "in love with fall" girl like all the rest of the blog world seems to be. {Although I do LOVE Christmas... hmmm.}
P.S. Love the pictures of the boys... and I love that they are taking turns drinking out of the hose... I remember those days.
