grocery store, grocery store.........who likes to go to the grocery store?
~i really don't. i refuse to go with both boys by myself. it never ends well when i do.
~i have a closet full of pasta that i don't need and won't eat just because it was on sale.
~i paid $5.99 for 18 eggs once because i didn't see it was buy one get one free. which is dumb because it isn't a sale if each carton is still regular price, right?!?!?!? (i even took my receipt in and they wouldn't do a thing for me. even though the price that day was $2.99, and i was saying, $6 for 18 eggs, really?!?!? haha, still mad.)
~getting a good cart......you all know what i mean.
~i don't like that a lemon can be 2/$5 one day and $0.59 the next day!!!! ugh!!
~i love to coupon shop, but it takes a lot of time and i always buy stuff that i wouldn't normally buy, and i go to the store more when i have coupons and sometimes i forget to dig out the coupons........i'm just not good at it.
~i guess i just want to get the basics without having to pay attention or pay double or fight huge crowds of kids and adults and employees and shopping carts.......{don't get me started on walmart.}
~i do have to apologize. i'm sorry if you ever go to the store and there is no "green yogurt" {aka key lime pie flavor}. i normally buy it all when i'm there. the boys love it! i'm also the one to contribute to the extra noise......with the car cart and a screaming child. and finally, i'm sorry for getting annoyed when the person in front of me does 20 different transactions for their cart full of groceries. it's not that big of a deal. i will try to handle it better.
ahhhhhhhhh, the grocery store. do you love it or hate it?

I love and hate it. I like it solely for the reason it gets Grae and I out of the house once a week. But I hate it for the reasons you've already mentioned (including not in the mood to chat and seeing 9 people I know who I try to wave off with a friendly smile but they hunt me down and make me talk). I don't coupon, or do several transactions and I'm in and out within no more than 40 minutes. That's how i roll :)
I love it without kids (which rarely happens). I hate it with lots of people. Try going to Wal-mart super early. Like be there before 8am. It's kind of eerie without all the people and noise.
oh my gosh, do i relate to this post! i don't shop with my kids (older kids) EVER anymore. EVER! and when I coupon shop I do it early or late to avoid the crowds. ML just needs another store!!
um, we totally clean out ALL of the "orange creme" yogurt, and im totally steaming mad when someone beats me too it! im glad its not you! we might have some issues to resolve :)
I am right there with you!! I experience the same anxiety of arriving at the store and realizing I don't have the coupons I have been saving for months... It's such a drag
